Chad Higgs is the owner of All God’s Children Early Intervention, PC. He is a national board certified speech language pathologist by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Chad received his bachelor of science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, and completed his Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, FL. Chad is currently adjunct faculty at Lee University in Cleveland, TN where he teaches Introduction to Communication Disorders for students studying Special Education.

Chad has practiced speech language pathology in a variety of settings serving both children and adults with diverse disorders for over 18 years in FL, NC, VA, and TN. Chad’s areas of professional focus have been in developmental delays, language delays, articulation/phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding/swallowing/texture aversion difficulties, traumatic brain injury, cognitive/executive function impairments, and family/community advocacy and education. Chad is also a published children's book author, "Hootie the Owl Goes to the Farm," that helps facilitate language and literacy development.

Chad’s personal goal is to positively impact everyone with whom he comes in contact. He believes that All God’s Children Early Intervention will better the tomorrow of our children today. Chad, and his wife, Dr. Sara Ortega-Higgs, reside in Cleveland, TN with their sons, Isaac and Samuel, and dog, Annie
